A senior official said that children were also among those who died in the accident. According to the police officer, the accident occurred on Friday night near Tati village in Kudu area, about 60 km from the state capital Ranchi.
Kudu police station in-charge Kuldeep Raj Toppo said, ‘Three children died in the accident, eight others including the truck driver were seriously injured and have been sent to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi.’
