PNB ATM Transaction Fees: From May 1, PNB has decided to charge penalty for ATM transaction failure due to low balance.

PNB Update: It will be necessary for the customers of PNB to withdraw money from the ATM only if there is balance, otherwise penalty will have to be paid.

PNB ATM Transaction Fees: There is bad news for the account holders of public sector Punjab National Bank. If you do not have sufficient funds in your bank account and while withdrawing money from ATM, the transaction fails due to low balance in the account, then PNB will charge you Rs.10+GST penalty charge. This new rule is going to be implemented from May 1, 2023.

Punjab National Bank has given this information while issuing a notice on its website. The bank has told its customers that dear customer, from May 1, 2023, a charge of Rs 10 + GST ​​will have to be paid for failure of cash withdrawal from domestic ATM transactions due to insufficient funds. Punjab National Bank has started sending SMS to customers informing about the charges to be levied on failure of ATM transactions. This message is being continuously sent to the account holders of the bank.

Although there is sufficient balance in your account, PNB has made guidelines to solve this problem of the customers if the transaction fails from the ATM. According to PNB website

1. Redressal of complaint in case of failure of ATM transaction will be done within seven days of receipt of complaint.

2. Compensation at the rate of Rs.100 per day will be given for delayed redressal of the complaint if claimed within 30 days of the transaction.

3. Customers of PNB can complain to the Customer Relationship Center on 0120-2490000 or toll free numbers 1800180222 and 18001032222 if the transaction fails at the ATM.
