Jharkhand Murder: A young man was shot dead on Friday (19 July) night in the fruit market located in Argora police station area of the capital Ranchi. The deceased has been identified as Abhishek Kumar Singh. After getting information about the incident, City SP Raj Kumar Mehta, Kotwali DSP, Hatia DSP, City DSP and Argora police station in-charge reached the spot and started investigating the case.
The young man had gone with his friend to buy ganja near Harmu river fruit market
. It is being told that the deceased Abhishek Kumar Singh had reached near Harmu river fruit market with his friend Prince to buy ganja. During this, the drug smugglers started looting and opened fire. In which the young man died on the spot.
When the youth opposed the robbery, he was chased to death.
The criminals tried to rob Prince and Abhishek of their iPhones and money. During the robbery, Prince gave his mobile and money to the criminals. Abhishek started opposing the robbery. After this, the criminals opened fire on Abhishek. In which Abhishek Kumar Singh died on the spot.
Blood was found scattered at many places around the vegetable market.
