This is how the soil health card is made.
- First of all, the officials take the soil samples of the farmer’s field.
- This sample is sent to the lab for test.
- Its cloud team examines the soil sample and tells about its quality.
- If there is a deficiency of any nutrient in the soil of the field, then the officers are given suggestions for its improvement.
- A report is prepared and uploaded online with the name of the farmer.
To apply for this,
- first of all, go to the official website soilhealth.dac.gov.in.
- Click on the option of login on the home page,
- now select your state on the next and click on ‘Continue’.
- When the login page opens, click on the option of ‘Registration New User’.
- Now fill all the information asked in the form and submit it.
- After registration, login will have to be done through ID and password.
