For the first time, CCTV installed in the kitchen is being linked to AI.
According to IRCTC CMD Sanjay Jain, IRCTC supplies 16 lakh meals daily to all mail and express trains including Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Tejas, Vande Bharat, Duronto. For better quality, 100 base kitchens have been built in the last three months. Along with this, more new kitchens are being built, which will start soon. After this, food will be supplied by IRCTC in more trains.
IRCTC kitchens are currently equipped with CCTV cameras and are used to monitor the kitchen. To further improve the quality, AI technology will soon be used. All kitchens across the country will be linked to AI.
This is the benefit of AI
IRCTC has set standards for all kitchen related work for better quality of food. For example, how many times the kitchen should be cleaned in a day, how many times it should be sprayed, what should be the temperature, there should be no cockroaches, kitchen workers should wear aprons and gloves, how long should the utensils be washed. AI technology will be linked to CCTV to monitor all these.
Will give information in case of negligence
If any standard is not met, AI will immediately inform about it, so that the responsible officer will take immediate action on it. In this way, real time monitoring will be done. Quality will improve if the kitchen works according to the set standard.
