Jharkhand employees DA Hike: Before former Chief Minister Champai Soren joined the BJP, Jharkhand’s Hemant Soren has given a big gift to the government employees and officers. The Hemant Soren government has given the gift of DA to the employees of the Sixth Pay Commission. Under this, dearness allowance has been increased by 9 percent, after which DA has increased from 230 percent to 239 percent.
In fact, a cabinet meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of CM Hemant Soren, in which 44 proposals have been approved. Approval was given to the increase in the rates of dearness allowance to the state government employees with effect from 01.01.2024 in the unrevised pay scale (Sixth Central Pay Scale), it has been increased from 230 percent to 239 percent.
The new rates will be effective from 1.1. 2024, in such a situation, arrears will also be paid to the employees.

In the cabinet meeting, the proposal to increase the honorarium of part-time officers of National Cadet Corps (NCC) of Jharkhand state was approved. The proposal for reinstatement of Anganwadi Sevika and Poshan Sakhi was approved. Under this, 10 thousand 388 people will be reinstated in 6 districts.
Under the Chief Minister’s Energy Khushali Scheme, the proposal to waive off the benefit of 200 units of free electricity scheme instead of completing it has been passed. Under this, 39 lakh 44 thousand 389 people will get the benefit.
Approval was given to provide special ex-gratia grant of Rs. 10 lakh and government job on compassionate grounds to the dependents of soldiers/fire warriors of the state who attain martyrdom while discharging their duty during military operation.
