According to Meteorological Department scientist Abhishek Anand, during the last 24 hours, Sahibganj of Santhal received 114.5 mm of rain, Mahuadanr of Latehar received 93.4 mm, Nandadih 78.0 and Ramgarh received 54.8 mm of rain.
Light to moderate rain occurred in other parts of the state including 32.0 mm rain in Daltonganj, 20.5 mm in Hazaribagh, 16.0 in Dhanbad and 5.4 mm in Ranchi. According to the Meteorological Department, a turf line (small low pressure area) is formed from Gujarat to Bihar. It is present in the southern part of Madhya Pradesh. It is raining due to this. On the other hand, life in Santhal is affected due to the rain that has been going on for the last three days. He told that there is a possibility of rain at some places in the state during the next 24 hours. While there is a possibility of thunderstorm with lightning at some places.

The released water is being stored in Tilpara barrage of West Bengal. People also faced problems due to waterlogging in Bokaro and Giridih. The water level of Garga Dam has increased. Currently, the water level of the dam has reached 766 meters. But the situation is under control as two gates of the dam have been open since before. In Dhanbad too, waterlogging has occurred on roads at many places due to rain. Three workers were injured due to land sliding in the Rajapur Open Cast Project in Jharia this morning.
