How to check pf balance at home
1. You can check balance through missed call
Give a missed call on 011-22901406 from your registered mobile. The call will be automatically disconnected after the ringer and immediately after that you will receive an SMS with information about your EPF account data. It will contain information about the balance of your EPF account.
2. You can know your balance through SMS
You can know your EPF balance from your registered mobile number. To check your PF balance online one has to send an SMS to EPFO. By sending an SMS to 7738299899, you can check your balance by giving your UAN and the last four digits of your bank account number. However, for this your mobile number should be registered with EPFO.
3. Check balance by visiting the online portal
You can check the passbook by visiting the EPFO site. For this, one has to login on the EPFO website with the UAN number. UAN is a 12 digit number that is given to all EPFO members. One has to login through UAN by visiting the EPFO website. There you have to click on the member passbook. Here you can see your passbook.
4. UMANG Portal
You can also check your balance using the EPFO app on the UMANG platform. The UMANG app can be downloaded from Google Play, App Store and Windows Store
