Due to the dirt stuck in the drains, the dirty water of the drain started overflowing and accumulated on the roads.
This rain has also exposed the poor sanitation system of the Municipal Corporation. Waterlogging in areas like Kokar, Booti, Lalpur, Hindpidhi, Dhurwa, Kadru, Harmu has increased the problems of the common people.
Tree branches fell at many places and traffic congestion was also witnessed for some time. At the same time, good results of this rain are being seen in rural areas.
Possibility of a good paddy crop
According to agricultural scientists, this rain has fulfilled the last irrigation requirement of paddy. Talking about the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center Ranchi, there is no possibility of any major change in the maximum temperature in the state during the next 5 days.
According to the centre, on October 17, light to moderate rainfall is likely in many parts of the north-eastern part of the state i.e. Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Jamtara, Giridih, Dhanbad as well as southern part i.e. East and West Singhbhum, Simdega and Saraikela Kharsawan along with adjoining central part i.e. Ranchi, Ramgarh, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Bokaro and Khunti.
The capital Ranchi will remain partly cloudy till October 18 and there is a possibility of rain with thunder. On the other hand, meteorologist Abhishek Anand has issued an alert and advised the general public, especially farmers, to be cautious and careful before going to the fields.
In case of thunder and rain, take shelter in a safe place. Do not stand under a tree. Stay away from electric poles. Farmers should not go to their fields. Wait for the weather to become normal. Do not use electrical appliances, as instructed.

The highest maximum temperature of 35.8 degree Celsius was recorded in Saraikela Kharsawan while the lowest minimum temperature of 21 degree Celsius was recorded in Ranchi. The maximum temperature of Ranchi was recorded at 29.4 degree Celsius.
