PM Internship Scheme : Today is the last date for PM Internship Scheme. If any applicant has not applied yet, he can apply on pminternship.mca.gov.in . According to the information, under this scheme started for the first time, 127000 internship offers have been given by 280 companies. A target of providing 1.25 lakh internships was set for the pilot project of the scheme.
what is the eligibility
Only youth aged 24 years can apply for this internship. A candidate can choose a maximum of five internship options. However, only those youth can apply who are not involved in any full-time employment or education. Students studying through online or distance learning will be considered eligible for the internship program.
These things will also have to be kept in mind
In the financial year 2023-24, a person whose family income is more than 8 lakhs will not be able to apply for this scheme. Apart from this, if any member of the family does a permanent government job, then he will also not be eligible for this scheme. If the person graduates from big and professional institutions like IIT IIM, then he will not be able to apply. Also, the youth who have received skill training under any central state government scheme cannot benefit from this scheme.

These companies are providing internship opportunities
According to the information available on the scheme’s portal, Jubilant Foods, Maruti Suzuki India, Tata Consultancy Services, Eicher Motors, Larsen & Toubro, Muthoot Finance, Reliance Industries, State Bank, HDFC Bank, Bank of India and other such big companies are giving the youth an opportunity to get interviewed in their offices.
Internship will start from 2 December
After accepting applications till 25 October, the list of selected persons will be prepared between 27 October and 7 November. Offer letters will be sent to the selected youth from 25 November while the internship of the youth will start from 2 December.
This is how the selection will be done
The government will use new technology to select youth for internship. Under this, the government will match the applications and vacancies through AI based software. At least 2 names from the number of internship offices will be matched with the biodata of the candidates and sent to the companies. After this, the candidates will be selected and internships will be offered as per their rules.
You will get 5 thousand rupees every month
The youth doing internship will get Rs 5000 every month, out of which Rs 4500 will be given by the Central Government while Rs 500 will be given by the companies from CSR fund every month. Apart from this, a lump sum of Rs 6000 will also be given.
At the same time, personal insurance coverage will be provided under the insurance schemes of the Central Government, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. For this, the premium amount will be deposited by the Central Government itself.
