Ranchi News Health Minister Irfan Ansari has said that a new medical college and hospital (RIMS-2) will be built in Ranchi at a cost of one thousand crore rupees. In a review meeting held at the RCH auditorium in Namkom on Friday, he directed the department to prepare a proposal for this and said that he would talk to Chief Minister Hemant Soren in this regard.
Ranchi News: Health Minister Irfan Ansari has said that a new medical college and hospital (RIMS-II) will be built in Ranchi at a cost of Rs 1000 crore. In a review meeting held at the RCH auditorium in Namkom on Friday, he directed the department to prepare a proposal for this and said that he would talk to himself as well as Chief Minister Hemant Soren in this regard.
Major announcements of the Health Minister
- He also directed the department to prepare a proposal to build 1000 new PHCs in the state and 500 health sub-centers in remote areas.
- The minister also directed to replace all the machine-equipment older than 10 years in all hospitals and health centers.
- Officials said that adequate funds have been made available to all hospitals and health centers, so that they can do this work.
- 225 hospital managers will be appointed for better management in hospitals.
- One hospital manager will be posted in Sadar Hospital and other health centres and three in medical colleges.
- The minister said that all old outsourcing agencies should be removed and a new agency should be selected in their place within 10 days.
- Now Mohalla clinics will not be opened in the state but preparations are being made to open modern hospitals.
Warning to health officials
The minister told civil surgeons and superintendents that those doctors or officers who do not want to work should resign on their own. If the minister takes action, there will be trouble. He directed to restore the facility of MRI and CT scan in all medical colleges and Sadar hospitals including RIMS.
Doctors will sit in the evening too, will treat in two shifts. Doctors will now sit in government hospitals both in the morning and evening. The minister said that doctors should sit in OPD from 9 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 6 pm in winters. Similarly, in summers, OPD should be done compulsorily from 9 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Instructions for investigation of five big private hospitals of Ranchi
Health Minister Irfan Ansari said in the meeting that the concerned officials should inspect the private hospitals to see whether they meet all the necessary standards or not. Whether the government’s instructions are being followed there or not.
He asked to start this from five big hospitals of Ranchi. He also gave instructions to monitor the medicines being sold in private medicine shops through the portal.
