In this way, the combined share of shareholders in the age group of 18-25 years was 55.37 percent among the new shareholders. Apart from this, about 10.15 lakh members became part of EPFO again in February. This number is 8.59 percent more than a year ago.

The number of women employees who became members of EPFO in the month of February was 2.78 lakh, which is 19.93 percent of the total new registrations. Of these, 1.89 lakh women became members of EPFO for the first time.
