Ranchi. Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, has been very hot in the last 24 hours. Yesterday afternoon, bright sunshine was seen. There was silence on the roads. People came out only for essential work. The same was the case with other districts. On Wednesday, a yellow alert has been issued in some districts regarding heatwave, due to which people of these districts need to be cautious of heat stroke.

Abhishek Anand, a scientist at Ranchi Meteorological Center, said that at present no synoptic feature of any kind is being seen. Especially the western wind that is coming, this wind enters Jharkhand via Pakistan via Rajasthan and UP. It brings humidity and heat with it. Due to these winds, heat wave like conditions are being seen.

Be alert of heat wave today
Today, a yellow alert has been issued in some districts of the state like Sahibganj, Pakur, Jamtara, Godda, Deoghar, Dumka, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Saraikela Kharsawan, West and East Singhbhum, Simdega. There is a possibility of heat stroke here. Hot wind i.e. Loo will also blow in the afternoon. In such a situation, try not to go out of the house between 11 am to 3 pm and if it is necessary to go out, then cover yourself properly.

Potential temperature of districts
Talking about the potential temperature, maximum 41 and minimum 25 degrees can be recorded in Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj, maximum 42 and minimum 23 degrees in Koderma, Chatra, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga, Palamu, maximum 42 and minimum 23 degrees in Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla, maximum 43 and minimum 24 degrees in East and West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan and Simdega.
