Jharkhand Weather Update: Warning of heavy rain in 10 districts of Jharkhand, Meteorological Department issued yellow alert

Jharkhand Weather Update: On August 18, a warning of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in some districts of Jharkhand. Because of which a yellow alert has been issued for these districts. Abhishek Anand told that so far only 3 districts have received normal rain. Which includes Godda, Sahibganj and Simdega.

Monsoon has once again become active in Jharkhand. Due to the activeness of monsoon, a lot of rain is being seen in other districts including the capital. Due to the rain, there is a sense of relief on the faces of the common people as well as the farmers.

Although there is still a deficiency of 38% in the monsoon. But there is a forecast of heavy rains in the coming four-five days. Due to which There is also hope of a reduction in the deficit.

Abhishek Anand, meteorologist at Ranchi Meteorological Centre, told Local 18 that there is a deep cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal, which is currently active in the southern part of Bangladesh and if we talk about the monsoon trough, it is active between Amritsar and Nagaland.

The effect of these two is expected to be seen in Jharkhand in the coming four-five days, due to which heavy rains are expected. On the other hand, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in some districts.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in 10 districts.

On August 18, a warning of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in some districts of Jharkhand. Because of which a yellow alert has been issued for these districts. There is also a possibility of thunder and lightning in these districts.

Is. A warning has also been issued to people to be alert regarding this. These districts are Garhwa, Palamu, Latehar, Lohardaga, Gumla, Simdega, Khunti, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum and Seraikela Kharsawan. In many other districts, there will be normal light moderate rain.

Abhishek Anand told that so far only 3 districts have received normal rainfall, which includes Godda, Sahibganj and Simdega. Apart from this, there are 20 such districts which have received less than 60 percent rainfall . In which districts like Dhanbad, Bokaro and Ramgarh are included and one district is Chatra where less than 50% rainfall has been recorded.

At present, the deficiency rate in the state is 38%. Whereas, till August 15, the state has received 410.9 mm of rain. Till now, 658.9 mm of rain should have been received till now. The deficiency rate is expected to come down due to rain in the coming days.
