Jharkhand News: Before Diwali, Jharkhand government has given gifts to its employees and pensioners. The dearness allowance they receive has been increased by 4 percent.
After this decision taken in the cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of CM Hemant Soren on Friday evening, the government employees of the state will start getting 46 percent dearness allowance at par with the central employees.
This decision will come into effect from July 1, 2023. A total of 23 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting. A new scheme “Mukhyamantri Ujjwal Jharkhand Yojana” has been approved to provide electricity to the houses in rural and urban areas where electricity has not yet been provided. An amount of Rs 1,485 crore will be spent on this.
According to another important decision, the government will provide training for commercial pilots and Airbus operations to 30 eligible candidates every year at Dumka Airport in the state. Of these, the state government will bear the training fees of 15 candidates. A training program will cost Rs 9 crore 10 lakh. Candidates will be selected on the basis of examination.
