IMD New Alert : Rain in Tamil Nadu-Kerala even today, dense fog alert in these 8 states, know the weather condition across the country

According to IMD, dense to very dense fog is likely to occur in different parts of Punjab and dense fog is likely to prevail in the morning hours over Haryana and Assam and Meghalaya for the next 5 days from December 19 to 21.

The process of rain in the southern states is going to continue today, 20th December also. However, a reduction in its intensity can be seen. Apart from this, an alert of dense fog has been issued in many plain areas. Meanwhile, a huge drop in temperature is also being recorded in many states. Delhi’s climate

The temperature has started falling rapidly even in the country’s capital Delhi. Dense fog is seen here in the morning and winds are blowing. However, the sky is clearly visible during the day. Today the minimum temperature here can be recorded at 7 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 23 degrees Celsius and fog can be seen in the morning.

Uttar Pradesh weather

In Lucknow, the capital of UP, there will be fog or mist in the morning and later the sky will be mainly clear and the minimum temperature can be 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can be 23 degrees Celsius. However, some increase in temperature will be seen in the coming 4-5 days. Apart from this, dense to very dense fog may occur in some parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Rain and fog alert in these areas

According to IMD, dense to very dense fog is likely to occur in different parts of Punjab and dense fog is likely to prevail in the morning hours over Haryana and Assam and Meghalaya for the next 5 days from December 19 to 21. At the same time, according to Skymet, dense to very dense fog may occur in parts of northern Rajasthan and eastern Uttar Pradesh. Moderate to light fog may occur in Bihar, Meghalaya and Tripura.

Minimum temperatures may drop over northwest and central India during the next two days and light to moderate rain is possible over Lakshadweep with heavy rain at some places. Light to moderate rain is possible in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Light rain may occur at some places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
