IMD Rainfall Alert: The weather pattern is going to change once again amidst the harsh winter in North India. A Western Disturbance will hit at the end of this month, due to which a warning of rain has been issued for four days in the states of North West and Central India.
Apart from this, a new phase of light to moderate rain is going to start in Tamil Nadu for three days from December 30 to January 1.
According to the Meteorological Department, minimum temperatures are being recorded between 6-9 degrees Celsius in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh, while in Rajasthan, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, North Gujarat, Chhattisgarh.
In Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, minimum temperatures are being recorded between 10-14 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in parts of South Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Northeastern Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Punjab is remaining two to four degrees above average.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to Western Disturbance, the weather will change from December 30 and there will be rain in North-West India and Central India for four days between December 30 and January 2.
At the same time, there will be light to moderate rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal on 24, 27 and 28 December. Apart from this, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura are going to receive heavy rain and hailstorm on December 24.
On the other hand, there will be dense fog in Punjab, Haryana, Eastern Uttar Pradesh on 25-27 December, Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh on 25 December in the morning. Moreover, the minimum temperature over northwest and adjoining central India will drop by two to four degrees Celsius in the next two days.
This means that the cold is going to increase in two days. At the same time, if we talk about Eastern India, here too the minimum temperature is expected to drop by two degrees Celsius in the next two days.
