Abua Awas Yojana: Under this scheme, poor houseless people of rural areas will get permanent houses. Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar program is going to be organized from 24th November.

The residents of the district will benefit from the ambitious Abua Housing Scheme of the Jharkhand Government. Under this, poor houseless people of rural areas of the state will get permanent houses by the Rural Development Department, Government of Jharkhand.

Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar program is going to be organized from 24th November. For this, panchayat level camps will be organized from 24th to 26th November. In which applications especially for Abua Housing Scheme will be received on priority basis.

Its online entry will be done in the portal. Based on the applications received, verification/survey/investigation work will also be done in the blocks by the investigation team during this period. After this the list will be prepared on the basis of priority. According to the prescribed eligibility and criteria, a permanent waiting list of the beneficiary is to be prepared in the Gram Sabha.

This is how beneficiaries will be selected

Abua Awas Yojana should be selected for families living in kutcha houses, houseless and destitute families, especially vulnerable tribal groups, families who are victims of natural disasters, bonded labourers, and those families who are not eligible for the housing scheme run by the state or central government, such as – Have not received the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana,

Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas Yojana, Birsa Awas Yojana, Indira Awas Yojana etc. According to all the eligibility criteria, a permanent waiting list of the beneficiary will be prepared in the Gram Sabha. The list prepared by the portal will be verified through the app by a four-member committee formed at the block level.

Monitoring through e-governance

Implementation, supervision and monitoring of schemes will be done through e-governance

A total assistance amount of Rs 2 lakh will be provided for house construction. The house should be constructed in at least 31 square meters and should have three rooms, which also includes a clean kitchen. Apart from the unit assistance amount for the construction of the house, a maximum of 95 man days under MNREGA and benefits of other schemes of the Central and State Government will be given through convergence.
