ATF Price Hike: There has been a big increase in the price of aviation turbine fuel today. There has been a drastic increase in the price of ATF in many cities of the country including Delhi.
ATF Price Hike: On the first day of August, where the public has got relief on the prices of commercial gas cylinders, today can prove to be a difficult day for the airlines. The prices of aircrafts, jet fuel i.e. Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) or jet fuel have been increased today. From Delhi to Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, there has been a huge increase in the price of ATF. This is the second consecutive month when oil marketing companies have increased the price of ATF.
Big hike in ATF price
Oil marketing companies have increased the price of aviation turbine fuel today. In the country’s capital Delhi, the price of ATF has been increased by Rs 7,728 per kiloliter and it has come down to Rs 98,508.26 per kiloliter. Earlier it was at Rs 90,779.88 per kilolitre.
Know the increased prices of ATF in other major metros of the country
The price of ATF in Mumbai has increased to Rs 92,124.13 per kl, which was earlier Rs 84,854.74 per kl.
In Kolkata , the price of ATF has increased above Rs 1 lakh per kiloliter and has come down to Rs 1,07,383.08 per kiloliter. Earlier it was at Rs 99,793.45 per kilolitre.
In Chennai too, the price of ATF has gone up above Rs 1 lakh per kl and has come down to Rs 1,02,391.64 per kl. Its previous price was at Rs 94,530.51 per kiloliter.
Commercial use cylinder cheaper from today
Today, from August 1, the 19 kg cylinder for commercial use has become cheaper. This time there has been a big reduction of Rs 100 in the price of commercial LPG cylinder. The price of LPG cylinder has gone up to Rs 1680 in the country’s capital New Delhi. Earlier on July 4, the price of commercial gas cylinder had reached Rs 1780.
