Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana: For the economically weaker people, the Central and State Governments are running various beneficial and welfare schemes at their respective levels. In these schemes, many types of schemes like housing, employment, insurance, pension are being run. One of these schemes is ‘Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Chief Minister Scheme’.
This is a health scheme issued by the Central Government. Under this, the needy and poor sections are treated free of cost. Under this scheme, first of all, Ayushman card is made for the eligible people, then these people can get free treatment up to five lakh rupees in the listed hospitals.
A large number of hospitals are included in the registered i.e. panel under the Ayushman Yojana. Ayushman card holder can get his treatment free in these hospitals. But, many times it is seen that even empaneled hospitals refuse to provide free treatment.
If the empaneled hospital refuses to treat the Ayushman cardholder except under certain circumstances, then you can complain and action can also be taken on your complaint against that hospital.
If the hospital included in the Ayushman card panel refuses to treat the diseases present here, then you can complain about it on the toll free number and official portal. For this, separate toll free numbers have been issued by the Central as well as the State Governments.
