Punjab National Bank: A big decision has been taken by the government bank of the country. If you also have an account in a government bank, then after August 31, you will not be able to do money transactions. Yes… Punjab National Bank has told about this by issuing a notice to the customers (PNB Customer).

PNB has accounts of crores of customers across the country. The bank has told that all the customers who have not updated the KYC details till now. Notice is being sent to all of them on behalf of the bank.

August 31 is the deadline

PNB has told that the deadline has also been declared for this. You have to complete this work by August 31, 2023. Those customers who do not complete this work by the due date may face problems in banking transactions.

Notice has been issued on August 2,

while giving information on August 2, 2023, Punjab National Bank has said that all the customers whose KYC is not updated, notice is being sent by the bank on their registered address. Along with this, a message is also being sent to their registered mobile number. The bank has urged its customers to update their KYC information before 31st August 2023 as per RBI norms.

RBI gave these instructions

According to the instructions issued by the Reserve Bank of India, it is necessary for all customers to update KYC. If you have not updated your KYC till July 31, then you can get this work done by going to the bank. Apart from this, KYC can also be updated through the bank’s website.

What documents will be required:

Identity card, address proof, passport size photo, PAN card, income certificate and registered mobile number will be required for updating KYC by the customers. Apart from this, if there is no change in these details, then you will have to give self-declaration in the bank.

Check KYC Status 

>> For this you have to login to PNB website online with your credentials.

>> Go to Individual Settings and click on KYC Status.

>> If you need to update your KYC, it will appear on the screen.
