Apart from this, there is a holiday on the second and fourth Saturdays as well, but in the meeting to be held today, a decision can be taken on working 5 days a week.

Working hours will increase

According to reports, United Forum of Bank Employees and Indian Banks Association (IBA) have given their consent on Two Day’s Weekly Off. If the 5-day working proposal comes into force, the daily working hours of all employees will be increased by 40 minutes.

Will get holiday every Saturday

After the meeting of United Forum of Bank Employees and Indian Banks Association (IBA), bank employees will get 2 days off every week. That is, on the first and third Saturday also the employees will get leave.

While giving

the information, IBA had said that the holidays of the bank employees are being actively considered and it may be that there will be no more delay in implementing this new system. However, a decision in this regard is yet to come.

What is the rule now?

If we talk about the current rules, then at this time there is a holiday in banks on the second and fourth Saturdays. Apart from this, the employees have to work on the third and first Saturdays. At present, the employees are demanding 2 days weekly leave, due to which this decision has been taken.

5 days work being done in LIC

Let us tell you that 5 days working day system has been implemented in LIC. If we talk about the list of holidays in the month of August, then next month there will be 14 days holidays in banks, but during this time you can take advantage of online banking facilities.
