There was a blast in a junk shop in Palamu, Jharkhand, in which four people including three minors died. This accident happened when the junk material was being sorted. Due to this accident that happened before voting in Palamu, the police department has become active.

Four people, including three minors, were killed and three others were injured in a blast that took place in Palamu, Jharkhand on Sunday. Police said that the blast took place at a scrap dealer in Manatu police station area, about 200 km from Ranchi. This incident happened before the Lok Sabha elections in four seats including Palamu in Jharkhand.

Palamu SP Reshma Ramesan told PTI that four people, including three minors, were killed and three others were injured in the incident. He said that we are investigating the incident from every aspect. We are looking into all aspects including the possibility of a bomb blast. SP said that the forensic team has reached the spot for investigation.

Four including three minors died

The deceased scrap dealer was identified as Ishtiaq Ansari (50) and the others killed in the blast were Sahadat Ansari (8), Shaheed Ansari (8) and Warish Ansari (10). Those who were injured were identified as Majid Ansari (7), Afsana Khatoon (14) and Rukhsana Khatoon (17).

Blast occurred while sorting garbage material

According to the news agency, Rukhsana told the police that her father was sorting and weighing junk materials when the explosion occurred. Suddenly some scrap material exploded, injuring everyone nearby. “Prima facie the death was caused by an accidental explosion caused by the garbage stored at the house of the deceased. A detailed investigation is underway and experts from the FSL team are also investigating the case,” the police said in a statement.
