The incident took place near the LIC office of Ramgarh city, where bike-borne armed criminals looted Rs 29 lakh 34 thousand after shooting the worker in broad daylight and escaped comfortably. The guards of the company first opposed the criminals, after which the criminals shot Dadan Kumar Singh and ran away with a bag full of money.
Dadan Kumar Singh has been sent to Sadar Hospital Ramgarh in injured condition. Ratan Kumar Singh is undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital where his condition is said to be fine at present. He had just alighted after taking money from the SIS company’s van when the criminals standing in ambush carried out the robbery.
