Bihar-Jharkhand Weather Alert: The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of rain in different areas of Bihar and Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in about 17 districts of Bihar on October 2 and 3. Patna Meteorological Center has issued Orange and Yellow alert for the next 2 days in Bihar.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in about 17 districts of Bihar on October 2 and 3. Patna Meteorological Center has issued Orange and Yellow alert for the next 2 days in Bihar. At the same time, an alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for Jharkhand till October 4.

According to weather forecast, there may be heavy rain in most areas of southern part of Bihar. There are chances of heavy rain especially in Gaya, Aurangabad, Kaimu and Rohtas of Bihar. According to IMD, due to very active South-West Monsoon activities, changes in weather are being seen in many states. In such a situation, there is a possibility of heavy rain in different states including Bihar-Jharkhand till October 5.

IMD issued an orange alert for Odisha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh on Sunday, saying that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in these states in the next 48 hours. The cyclonic circulation in Jharkhand extends up to 7.6 km above sea level. IMD has predicted light to moderate widespread rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during October 1 to October 4, 2023.

Let us tell you that even on Sunday, people had to face problems due to heavy rains in different areas of Bihar and Jharkhand. Patna, the capital of Bihar and Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand also received heavy rain on Sunday.

According to the Meteorological Department, the low pressure system caused widespread rainfall in the state. The low pressure area is currently in western parts of West Bengal and surrounding areas of Jharkhand. It is expected to move slowly towards north-west in the next 24 hours.
