What are the interest rates on Mudra Loan?

There is no fixed interest rate under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. Banks may charge different interest rates for Mudra loans. Generally the minimum interest rate is 12 percent.

3 types of loans are available-

Let us tell you that you can get the benefit of PM Mudra Loan in 3 stages. The first step in this is Shishu Loan. Apart from this, the second phase is Kishore Loan and the third phase is Tarun Loan.

1. Shishu Loan Scheme- Under this scheme you will get a loan up to Rs 50,000.

2. Kishore Loan Scheme- In this scheme the loan amount has been fixed from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh.

3. Tarun Loan Scheme- Loan ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh can be taken under Tarun Loan Scheme.

Who will get the benefit?

This scheme was started especially for small businessmen. For example, loan can be taken under this scheme for starting shopkeepers, fruit/vegetable sellers, small scale industries, food service units, repair shops, machine operations, food processing units.

From where can you take this loan?

Let us tell you that you can take this loan from any government bank, private bank, foreign bank, rural bank and co-operative bank. RBI has authorized 27 government banks, 17 private banks, 31 rural banks, 4 co-operative banks, 36 micro finance institutions and 25 non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) to distribute Mudra loans.

You can visit the official website http://www.mudra.org.in/ to take loan. After downloading the form from here, you will have to fill all the details and upload the necessary documents. The branch manager of the bank takes information from you about the work. On that basis PMMY approves you loan.
