Champai Soren Champai Soren took oath as the new Chief Minister of Jharkhand. The Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy to Champai Soren. Alamgir Alam took oath as minister from Congress quota. Apart from this, Satyanand Bhokta took oath as minister from RJD quota. Champai Soren won the by-election from Seraikela for the first time in 1991.

Amidst the political turmoil in Jharkhand, Governor CP Radhakrishnan invited Champai Soren, who was elected leader of the legislative party, to form a new government. During this, today Champai Soren took oath as the new Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

The Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy to Champai Soren. At the same time, Alamgir Alam took oath as minister from Congress quota. Apart from this, Satyanand Bhokta took oath as minister from RJD quota.

Champai Soren won the by-election from Seraikela for the first time in 1991. He has won the MLA election seven times. Champai Soren was made a minister for the second time in the Hemat Soren cabinet.

Here, the Governor had asked Champai Soren to prove his majority in ten days. Meanwhile, Champai Soren’s government will prove its majority in the Assembly on February 5. On the other hand, the budget session of the Assembly is starting from February 9.
