These changes include changes in the price of LPG gas cylinders, credit cards and rules ranging from filing income tax (ITR Filing). It is very important for you to know about these changes as well.

On the 1st and 16th of every month, the rate of LPG cylinder is changed by the oil companies. But last month on July 1, no change was seen. At that time there was no change in the price of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders.

After this, on July 4, 2023, the oil companies had increased the price of commercial cylinders. At present, the rate of 19 kg commercial cylinder has increased to Rs 1,780 per cylinder. Last month, there was no change in the rate of domestic LPG cylinders.

The last date for filing ITR is 31 July 2023. These deadlines are for taxpayers who do not have to get their accounts audited. But if you do not file ITR, then from August 1, you may have to pay a fine. Taxpayers with annual income up to Rs 5 lakh will have to pay a late fee of Rs 1,000, while those with income above Rs 5 lakh will have to pay a late fee of Rs 5,000 for late ITR filing.

This time in August, there will be a bank holiday for 14 days. This month, due to many festivals including Raksha Bandhan, banking operations will remain closed in different states. During this, you can do transactions through net banking. Pink notes of Rs 2000, which have been taken out of circulation, will not be exchanged during these holidays along with other banking works.

The last date for investing in SBI’s Amrit Kalash Scheme is August 15, 2023. According to the information given by SBI, on investing in the scheme for 400 days, interest will be given at the rate of 7.1 percent. In this scheme, the interest rate for senior citizens has been increased by 0.50 percent.
