Chhath Puja Special Train: In view of the festival, Railways has decided to run a special train for Chhath festival between Durg of Chhattisgarh and Patna, the capital of Bihar, in view of the crowd of railway passengers and facilities for Chhath Puja.
The festival of Chhath is celebrated after Diwali. Many people from states like Bihar, Jharkhand also reside in Chhattisgarh, who want to visit their state during Chhath Puja. But during festival time huge crowd is seen.
In view of this, Railways has decided to run a special train for Chhath festival between Durg of Chhattisgarh and Patna, the capital of Bihar, in view of the crowd of railway passengers and the facilities for Chhath Puja. It has also been decided to run a special train for Jharkhand’s capital Raipur for Durg.
Public Relations Officer of South East Central Railway, Shiv Prasad said that 08793 special train will leave from Durg on Wednesday, November 15 at 14.45 pm, and will reach Raipur Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro, Chandrapura, Gomoh, Koderma, Gaya.
And via Jehanabad it will reach Patna on Thursday at 09.30 am on the second day. In return, 08794 special train will leave Patna at 10.30 am on the same day and will reach Durg at 08.20 am on Friday morning on the next day on its scheduled route. Facility of 22 coaches will be available in the special train.
Train will run from Durg to Ranchi
According to Railways, the special train between Ranchi and Laheria Sarai will stop at Chandrapura, Dhanbad, Chittaranjan, Jasidih, Jhajha, Bokaro Steel City, Muri, Madhupur, Kiul, Barauni and Samastipur. Train No. 08626 Ranchi-Laheria Sarai Chhath Puja Special will depart from Ranchi at 23.00 hrs on 09th and 16th November and reach Laheria Sarai at 13.25 hrs the next day.
In the return direction, train number 08625 Laheria Sarai-Ranchi Chhath Puja special will arrive from Laheria Sarai at 15.30 hrs on 10th and 17th November. It will reach Ranchi the next day at 3.40 pm.
