Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will distribute tablets to 28,995 primary schools of the state on Friday. Tablets will be distributed to 12 schools of Ranchi and six schools of other districts in a ceremony. Tablets will be provided to other schools in 264 block offices. The maximum number of tablets will be distributed to the schools of Giridih.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will give tablets to 28,995 primary schools of the state on Friday. Tablets will be given to 12 schools in Ranchi and six schools each from other districts in a ceremony. Tablets will be made available to other schools in 264 block offices. The maximum number of schools in Giridih, i.e. 2776, will get tablets while the minimum number of schools in Lohardaga, i.e. 417, will get tablets. 1456 schools in Ranchi will get tablets. These are the schools where studies are conducted from class 1 to 5 (primary) and more than 30 students are enrolled in them.
After receiving the tablet, the Principal, the Head Master and the teachers will be responsible for its safety. In case of its physical damage, theft, loss etc., it will be recovered from the concerned teacher. This tablet will be the asset of the school.
Teachers will use tablets for teaching children, training of teachers, monitoring, recording biometric attendance. 2323 schools in Palamu, 1797 in Dumka and 1772 in West Singhbhum will get tablets. At the same time, tablets are to be given to 468 schools in Simdega, 491 in Khunti and 468 in Ramgarh.
At the same time, Jharkhand State Health Insurance Scheme will also be launched on Friday. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will launch it in the auditorium of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. Under this scheme, beneficiaries and dependents will be given health insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year.
Disabled and dependents will be given the benefit of this scheme for life. For the treatment of identified serious diseases of the beneficiaries, the amount of treatment expenses up to an additional limit of Rs 5 lakh i.e. Rs 10 lakh will be borne. Apart from this, in case the medical expenses exceed the insurance amount, the amount spent on treatment will be borne from the corpus fund. In special circumstances, air ambulance and air travel assistance will be provided. In case of serious illness, all treatment funds for organ transplant will be given.
