DA Hike: Government employees are expecting an increase in dearness allowance since the month of July. So that their salary can increase and they can get some relief from the blow of inflation. Lakhs of employees of the country are hoping that they will get to hear this good news during the festive season. Under this, now the Telangana government has announced to increase the dearness allowance (DA Hike) of road transport employees.
Managing Director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation said that this time the dearness allowance of the employees will be increased by 4.8 percent. This increased DA will be paid from July. The Managing Director said that its payment will be made with the month of October only. Along with this, arrears of July, August and September will also be received.
Apart from this, VC Sajjanagar, Managing Director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation said that the transport employees are working very hard. Keeping our priorities in mind, the employees are providing all quality facilities to the passengers.
From 2019 till now, Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) has been increased in installments by 9%. With this decision taken recently, all DA has been paid to the employees. Along with this, the union leaders of the department claim that a total of 173 months of DA is yet to be paid, which is necessary.
When will central employees get increased DA?
According to the information, an announcement can be made to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) of central employees till Dussehra. At present the dearness allowance of central employees is 42% which can be increased by 3%. After this increase, dearness allowance of employees will increase to 45%.
Let us tell you that on the basis of 7th Pay Commission, Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) of employees is increased twice a year. Normally, the decision to increase dearness allowance is taken for the first half in the month of March and for the second half, this decision is taken in October.
