Punjab DA Hike News: Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Party government on Monday gave ‘gift’ to the state employees; Have given. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced to increase dearness allowance (DA) by four percent for employees and pensioners from December 1. With this, the DA allowance of government employees in the state has increased to 38 percent.
Actually, there was a meeting of the Chief Minister with the employees after which this decision was taken. On this decision, the Chief Minister said that this will benefit lakhs of employees and pensioners of Punjab state. Mann said- Employees are a very important part of the state administration and protecting their interests is the top priority of our government.

CM Mann said – will continue to make efforts in future also
Not only this, Bhagwant Mann also said that every possible effort will be made to ensure the welfare of the employees in future also. Apart from this, while discussing another issue, CM Mann said that his government will raise the issue of restoration of the old pension scheme with the NDA government at the Centre. A meeting will be held with the Union Finance Secretary to take the matter forward. He also announced a committee to resolve various pending demands of the employees.
What instructions were given for steno typists?
The Chief Minister also directed to prepare a time limit for ensuring promotion channels for steno typists in different departments according to seniority. Besides, it was also asked to ensure that the process of filling the vacant posts in the ministerial services of all the departments through promotion should be ensured within two months.
