Delhi’s air was recorded in ‘very poor’ category.
The air quality index in Delhi was recorded in ‘very poor’ category on Sunday evening. The maximum temperature of the city was recorded at 31.3 degrees Celsius, which is one degree less than the season’s average. India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information. The minimum temperature of the city was 15.6 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees Celsius less than the normal minimum temperature of the season.
The minimum temperature is expected to be 17 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department has predicted the sky to be mainly clear on Monday. It said that the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31 and 17 degrees Celsius respectively. According to the Meteorological Department, the relative humidity ranged between 83 percent and 49 percent.
Air quality index in Delhi crossed 300.
According to the data of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s air quality index reached 307 at 8 pm. Talking about AQI in NCR, it reached 322 in Faridabad, 246 in Ghaziabad, 304 in Noida, 354 in Greater Noida and 255 in Gurugram.
According to the department, an index between 0-50 is considered ‘good’, 51-100 ‘satisfactory’, 101-200 ‘moderate’, 201-300 ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’. ‘ and between 401-500 is considered ‘severe’.
