Jagran Correspondent, Gonda. Five bogies of Chandigarh- Dibrugarh Express overturned on Thursday in Gonda, UP . So far three people have been reported dead in the accident. At the same time, many people are reported to be injured. Railway and police force have reached the spot. Relief and rescue work is going on. CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the accident. CM has given instructions to speed up the relief and rescue work.

The accident took place near Pikoura village of Motiganj on the Gonda-Gorakhpur railway line. Five bogies of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express (Gonda Train Accident News) overturned. CM Yogi took cognizance of the accident

Taking cognizance of the train accident in Gonda, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed the district administration officials to reach the spot and expedite the relief work. The CM has instructed the officials to immediately take the injured to the hospital and provide them proper treatment. He also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Information given to the CM of Assam

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has been informed about the derailment of the Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Express in Uttar Pradesh. He is monitoring the situation and the Assam government is in touch with the concerned officials.

North Eastern Railway has issued a helpline number for the assistance of railway passengers due to the derailment of 15904 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express on the down line between Motiganj-Jhilahi stations on the Barabanki-Gorakhpur rail section.
