Employee Honorarium Hike : The university has increased the honorarium of assistant professors working in courses running in various colleges and PG departments and in B.Ed departments. Notification has been issued for this. With the release of the notification, the benefit of increased honorarium will be made available to professors from September 2023.

Assistant professors working in vocational courses and B.Ed departments running in various colleges and PG departments under Ranchi University will get the benefit of increased salary. The notification has been issued on the orders of the Vice Chancellor. Along with the honorarium they will receive from September 2023, their salary will see an increase of up to Rs 5000.
Whereas assistant professors working in vocational courses will now get a benefit of Rs 45600. Earlier his salary was Rs 39600 whereas now instead of Rs 34100 he will be given a benefit of Rs 37510. However, the salary of assistant professors whose salary was Rs 28600 has been increased to Rs 31460 per month.
Under the notification issued by the university, assistant professors working in the B.Ed department of Ranchi Women’s College and Doranda College will now be given a benefit of Rs 48300 per month. Earlier his salary was Rs 43908. Assistant Professor working in KO College Gumla will now get the benefit of honorarium of Rs 45685 per month. Earlier his salary was Rs 41532.
Benefit of festival advance also
Besides, the benefit of festival advance will also be given to college employees including Rashi University headquarters. The advance amount will be deducted from the salary of November 2023 for the next 10 months. An important decision in this regard has been taken in the Finance Committee meeting.
As per the decision taken in the meeting, third category employees at headquarters and colleges will be given a benefit of Rs 50,000 as festival advance, while fourth category employees will be given a benefit of Rs 40,000. Festival advance of Rs 40,000 will be given to Class III employees working on contract and Rs 30,000 to Class IV employees.
