The government has given an important gift to the employees of the government. The grant amount has been increased for the dependents of the deceased employees. It has been decided to increase it from Rs.15000 to Rs.50000.
In the order issued by Upanal to all the concerned departments of the state, it has been said that at present Rs 15,000 ex-gratia grant is being given to the dependents of the deceased, which has been decided to be increased.

Dependents of deceased employees of Uttarakhand Ex-Servicemen Welfare Corporation will get ₹ 50,000 instead of ₹ 15,000. An order in this regard has also been issued on behalf of Upanal Deputy General Manager Colonel Manoj Rawat. 25000 employees are working in various government departments through sub channel.
Rules and policies have also been fixed for this. In which the employee should be working in the concerned department on the day of death. Along with this, the grant amount will be paid only to the nominated member on behalf of the employees.
According to Upanal Employees Federation, departmental minister Ganesh Joshi had announced assistance of one lakh on the death of Upanal employee during the service in the provincial session, but it is not being implemented. Due to which there is resentment among the employees.
A delegation of the same employees’ federation will meet departmentally in this matter and present their problems in front of them. For the present, the grant amount received by the employees has been increased from 15000 to 50000.
