India’s largest domestic airlines IndiGo has recorded a net profit of ₹3090 crore in the first quarter of 2023. Along with this, the company has announced salary hike for pilots and crew. According to its news, the review process for the performance of 4500 flight crew has started. At the same time, from October 1, they will get the benefit of increment.
Explain that with over 60% share by IndiGo in the domestic market, the airline has registered its highest ever quarterly profit. Asim Mitra, the airline’s senior vice president of flight operations, said that preparations are on to review the pay and allowances at Kuwait’s first levels. This will be done with the team to work towards raising the salaries of flight crew in the coming months. The same revised pay structure will be effective from October 1.

Recognizing the hard work of the crew, a 3% pay bonus was announced by the airline for the January-March quarter before the help. 3090.6 crore in the June quarter, IndiGo said that this has strengthened the financial position of the airline.
