Manish Sharma, a bullion trader and member of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association, told News18 Local that gold and silver prices are falling. A decline of Rs 200 has been recorded in the rate of silver per kg. Today silver will be sold at the rate of Rs.80,000 per kg. Whereas till yesterday (Monday) evening silver has been sold at the rate of Rs 80,200.
Reduction in the price of gold
Manish Sharma said, today a drop of about Rs 500 is being seen in the price of 22 carat and 24 carat gold per 10 grams. 22 carat gold per 10 grams was sold yesterday (Sunday) evening for Rs 57,350. Even today its price has been fixed at Rs 56,850. That means there is a drop of Rs 500 in the price. On the other hand, on Monday, people bought 24 carat gold at the rate of Rs 60,220 per 10 grams. Today its price has been fixed at Rs 59,690. That means there has been a fall of Rs 530 in the price.
