Apart from this, the government has also decided to regularize the services of daily wage laborers who
have completed four years of service till March 31. Those whose service is about to complete four years by September 30, will also be regularized accordingly. An official statement said that all the notifications have been issued by the government.
Government is committed for the welfare of the employees: CM Chief
Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu said that the present government is committed for the welfare of the employees and several steps have been taken for the benefit of the employees. The CM said that despite the critical financial condition of the state, 3 percent dearness allowance has already been released to the employees and pensioners.
The demand for restoration of old pension was also fulfilled: Sukhu
CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the government has also fulfilled the long-standing demand of the employees by restoring the old pension scheme for NPS employees. 1.36 lakh employees have benefited from this decision.
Let us inform that apart from Himachal Pradesh, the old pension scheme has also been restored in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Punjab. Apart from this, in many states, the demand for restoration of old pension is being made by the government employees. Instead of the old pension system, now the employees get the benefit of the new pension scheme. Employees appointed from the year 2004 get the benefit of NPS.
