These days, air travel from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, to various metropolitan cities of the country can be done for just four to five thousand rupees. Except for Goa and Mumbai airlines flying from Ranchi, the fares from here to most of the metros have reduced considerably.
Ranchi to Chennai flight fares have come down significantly in the last two months. This has reduced to half as compared to June. At present one can travel from here to Chennai for Rs 5,023. The fares of Hyderabad and Chennai airlines, which were booked for about seven to eight thousand rupees during June-July, have also reduced by two to three thousand rupees.
At present, the fare from Ranchi to Delhi is being booked for only Rs 4,094 and Ranchi-Bangalore airline is being booked for Rs 5,000. At the same time, during the last June-July month, the fare in these metros was around seven to nine thousand rupees. These days there has been a decline in the bookings of Hyderabad and Chennai.
The fare from Ranchi to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai is around four to five thousand rupees after September 15. Hyderabad booking is available for Rs 4,708. According to airlines personnel, fares come down due to lack of passengers.
