Vishwakarma Yojana: PM Modi has so far made available many schemes from farmers to the poor and needy. Along with this, financial help has also been given. This time the government had announced to start ‘Vishwakarma Yojana’ for small workers. Before starting this scheme, on Monday i.e. tomorrow, PM Modi will hold a meeting with senior officials of states, public sector banks and State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC).
This scheme is worth Rs 15,000 crore

To increase livelihood opportunities, the government has announced ‘Vishwakarma Yojana’ with a budget of up to Rs 15,000 crore on Tuesday.
The scheme will be presented on September 17.
The objective of this scheme is to help traditional artisans and craftsmen. The scheme will be launched on September 17 and will be implemented by three ministries – MSME, Skill Development and Finance.
The target is to connect more than 3 lakh people
An official said that under the PM Vishwakarma scheme, there is a target to connect more than three lakh beneficiaries in the current financial year. He has said that the Ministry of Skills has called a meeting on 28 August. In this, the chief secretaries of the states, managing directors of banks and SLBC representatives have been invited.
Training will be of 4-5 days
The officer has said that the draft implementation of PM Vishwakarma Yojana and the process of identifying the beneficiaries of the scheme will be discussed in the meeting. Under the scheme, skilled workers will be given 4-5 days training to enhance their skills. After this they will be eligible to take loan.
Attention will be given to rural areas,
the officer has said that in the current financial year, we have set a target of giving loans to three lakh beneficiaries. Under the scheme, special attention will be given to rural areas.
