GST System Changed : Nirmala Sitharaman ने बदल दिया टैक्स सिस्टम! आम जनता समेत राज्यों को होगा बड़ा फायदा……!

Nirmala Sitharaman on GST: केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री की तरफ से लागू की जीएसटी की व्यवस्था (GST System) से आम जनता समेत कई राज्यों को बड़ा फायदा मिला है. निर्मला सीतारमण ने अब गुड्स एंड सर्विस टैक्स से होने वाले फायदे के बारे में बताया है.

Nirmala Sitharaman has now told about the benefits of Goods and Service Tax. The Finance Minister has told that GST has been very beneficial for the North Eastern states. After the introduction of the new tax system, the state of Tripura has benefited a lot.

GST collection increased

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that there has been a massive increase in revenue collection in Tripura after the introduction of the new tax system. While inaugurating the new building of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Department in Agartala, the capital of Tripura, Sitharaman said that the GST collection of this northeastern state has increased to Rs 982.50 crore in the financial year 2022-23, while its share in the Central Sales Tax collection in the financial year 2016-17 was Rs 4.61 crore.

GST was implemented in 2017.

Describing GST as a consumption-based tax system, he said that if consumption increases in any state, GST collection will increase there. “The revenue collection in Tripura has been very good since the implementation of GST in July 2017,” he said.

GST registration is necessary

Sitharaman said that big companies do not like to do business with companies that do not have GST registration, so staying away from it will not be beneficial for businessmen.

Sitharaman

said, “GST has brought significant reforms in the tax system, which has benefited not only the states but ultimately the common people as well.” He said that Sikkim and Meghalaya have also registered important achievements. The tax collection of Sikkim has increased from Rs 263.5 crore to Rs 3,036 crore and that of Meghalaya has increased from Rs 587.21 crore to Rs 2,078 crore.

Tax collection used to be less earlier,

while giving information, the Finance Minister has said that before the implementation of GST, the sales tax collection of Assam was Rs 558.26 crore, but now it has increased manifold to Rs 7,097 crore.
