Haryana Violence: After the communal violence in Haryana’s Nuh and Gurugram, the state is witnessing tension. Maulvi has also been killed by attacking Gurugram’s mosque late on Tuesday night and shops were set on fire.
To keep the situation under control, a large number of police forces and contingents of forces called from the Center have been deployed. Internet is closed in Palwal, Manesar Pataudi and Sohana including Nuh. A flag march has also been taken out here by the RAF.
In this violence, 5 people were killed during a clash between two communities, in which 2 Home Guard personnel were involved. 26 FIRs have been registered regarding the violence in Mewat and information about 116 people being arrested is coming to the fore.
Violence in Palwal as well
This fire of violence spread from Nuh has spread to Palwal and Gurugram. More than 25 huts were set ablaze in Parshuram Colony of Palwal. However, there has been no loss of life during this period. Shops located on Bhiwadi Highway have also been vandalized.
Violence erupted in Gurugram
Violence broke out in Gurugram too late on Tuesday night. A crowd of over 100 people targeted Anjuman Masjid in Sector 57. According to the information, four people were present inside the mosque, on whom bullets were fired while pelting stones. There has also been an incident of arson in the mosque.
Naib Imam was seriously injured during the attack while the other person Saad was declared brought dead by the doctors at the hospital. Police registered an FIR naming 10 attackers and 5 people have been detained. Earlier, in Badshahpur here too, while raising slogans, a hotel was set ablaze by the mob. The fire brigade that reached the spot had controlled the fire. Some miscreants were vandalizing shops who fled from the spot as soon as the police arrived.
Highway jammed
In protest against the Nuh violence, traders blocked the Delhi-Jaipur highway by closing shops on the 20-km-long Badshahpur-Sohna road. When the police dispersed the crowd it was a katha to hold a panchayat at a temple where it was decided that those involved in criminal activities should be asked to leave Manesar.
Alert in UP
In view of the violence in Haryana, alert has been issued in 11 border districts of UP and night patrolling has been increased. Police have been instructed to be vigilant in Agra, Firozabad, Saharanpur, Mathura, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Aligarh, Shamli, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar. 84 Kosi Parikrama is going on in Aligarh, in which arrangements have been made to keep the security system strong. Checking is being done keeping an eye on the vehicles and people coming from Haryana side.
section 144 in alwar
In view of the violence spread in Haryana, Section 144 has also been imposed in Alwar, Rajasthan. Alert has been issued in Tijara, Govindgarh, Ramgarh, Tapukada, Kathumar Laxmangarh, Malakheda, Kishangarh. Internet is closed in Bharatpur since Monday.
Demand for NIA investigation
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has called this violence a big conspiracy. VHP has demanded a probe by the National Investigation Agency in this. Whereas Bajrang Dal is going to protest in Delhi today. The party has called all the workers to protest at Badarpur Toll Plaza, Brahmapuri Ghonda Chowk and Uttam Nagar Dwarka in Delhi.
