IMD Alert : Heavy rains for next 84 hours in 10 states including UP-Bihar, Red-Orange alert issued… Know Meteorological Department’s forecast

Orange alert for rain has been issued in 3 districts while Yellow alert has been issued in 6 districts while rain activity is going to continue in the state of North India.

There is a possibility of rain in Delhi NCR today. The weather patterns are going to change in Uttarakhand as well. Orange alert has been issued in five districts including Dehradun while warning of heavy rain has been issued in 17 districts of Bihar Jharkhand. Thunderstorm warnings have also been issued. In its information, the Meteorological Department said that significant changes will be seen in the weather today in Punjab and Haryana including the capital Delhi.

Talking about the hilly states, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in many areas of Uttarakhand Himachal. Orange alert of heavy rain has been issued in four districts. Along with this, a warning of heavy rain has also been issued by the Meteorological Department in Shimla. While issuing warnings of heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, while issuing alerts in more than 15 districts, instructions have been given to be alert from lightning.

Here, the activity of monsoon is being seen in many states of North India. A red orange alert has been issued for heavy rains in several states in Bihar in North East India. Issuing orange alert of heavy rain in more than 20 states, people have been advised to be vigilant. Winds can blow at a speed of 18 kilometers per hour. Along with this, an alert has also been issued regarding lightning. And there is a cyclonic circulation over Bihar. Due to which the weather in Bihar Jharkhand can be affected. Its effect will also be seen in five to seven districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rain warning has been issued in western districts of Uttar Pradesh. Meerut and adjoining areas including Noida may witness heavy rain at some places. At the same time, the movement of clouds in the sky is going to continue. A drop of three to four percent in temperature will be recorded. At the same time, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in these areas in 2 to 3 days.

  • Light to heavy rain warning has been issued for Gujarat, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Odisha along with other parts of North Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh.
  • Very light rain has been forecast in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, weather warnings have also been issued in Maharashtra and Goa.

  • Heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, East Rajasthan, Konkan-Goa, Central Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
