The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs of the Central Government has declared the result of the India Smart City Award Contest 2022. Once again Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi has hoisted its glory in this award contest issued by the Government of India. Ranchi has been awarded the number one award among cities with a population of more than 10 lakhs in the eastern region.
According to the information received, very soon the award will be distributed in a big program to be organized at the national level, in which Ranchi Smart City will also be honored. Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department of the State Government and Chairman cum Managing Director of Ranchi Smart City Corporation, has congratulated the officials and personnel of the Urban Development Department, Ranchi Smart City Corporation and various agencies involved in the development of Smart City.
Along with this, the people of Ranchi have also expressed their heartfelt gratitude for their cooperation. The departmental secretary said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state is hoisting its glory in every field and because of this efficient leadership, our state and Smart City Ranchi are constantly standing in the forefront of Smart City Mission plans.
