Indian Railways Latest Update: If you often travel by train, then you must be updated with this news. Indian Railways is going to make major changes in Bhubaneshwar-New Delhi-Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani Express. Yes, the Rajdhani Express running on this route is going to get a new ‘Tejas rake’.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will flag off the Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express to be operated with new rake from today. The Railway Minister said that PM Modi is determined to provide better facilities to the passengers. Passengers will get a lot of convenience if Rajdhani Express gets Tejas coach equipped with modern facilities.
This train will stop at 13 stations between Bhubaneswar to Delhi and Delhi to Bhubaneswar. En route it will stop at Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Tata Nagar Junction, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, NSC Bose J Gomoh, Koderma Junction, Gaya Junction, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj Junction and Kanpur Central.
The train will cover the distance of 1801 kilometer in 24h 25m. Running every day of the week, this train is the fastest train on this route after Duronto Express. With the introduction of Tejas coach in Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express, the number of this premium train with advance rake has increased to five.
The train will have the facility of electro-pneumatic assisted brakes, bio-toilets with automatic entry doors. It will also have Passenger Information System, Digital Destination Board and Electronic Passenger Reservation Chart. Passengers will also be provided with Wi-Fi facility in the coach.
Presently this facility is available in Agartala-Anand Vihar Rajdhani Express, Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, Mumbai-Nizamuddin August Kranti Rajdhani and Rajendra Nagar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express.
