Police station chief Aditya Nayak said that about 12 people were travelling in an auto rickshaw to Nagar Untari railway station to board a train bound for Gujarat when they collided with a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction.
At least five people were killed and six others were injured when an auto rickshaw collided with a truck in Garhwa district of Jharkhand. The accident took place near Palhe village in the Banshidhar Nagar police station area around 1.30 am on Friday night.
Police station in-charge Aditya Nayak said that about 12 people were travelling in an auto rickshaw to Nagar Untari railway station to board a train bound for Gujarat when they collided with a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction. He said that the injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
