JAC Class 10th Hindi Science Exam Cancelled: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has canceled the examinations of class 10th Science and Hindi (Course A and Course B) subjects. This information has been given by JAC in an official notice. Jharkhand Board Class 10th Hindi exam was conducted on 18 February 2025 and Science exam on 20 February 2025. New exam dates will be announced later. At present, the board has decided to take immediate action on confirmation of paper leak.
According to local media reports, the controversy started when the JAC chairman said that the paper in the question paper packet opened on the morning of the exam was similar to a version already circulating on social media. JAC officials compared the leaked paper with the original paper and confirmed the paper leak.
The notification issued regarding the cancellation of the examination reads, ‘All the students, parents, principals, center superintendents and concerned officials are informed about the Annual Secondary Examination 2025 that, in view of the news going viral in social media and newspapers, the Hindi (Course A and Course B) exam held in the first shift on 18-02-2025 and Science exam held in the first shift on 20-02-2025 have been cancelled. The dates for the re-examination of these subjects will be announced later.’
This incident has raised questions on the JAC board examinations which started from 11 February 2025. Also, this news is very worrying for the students. They must have worked hard in preparing for the exam. Now they will have to prepare for the exam again.
