Although there is not a single active case of corona in Dhanbad at present, but the way the rate of corona infection has started increasing in the whole country including Jharkhand. In view of this, the health department has geared up.

Medical staff, roster of doctors also ready
Deputy Development Commissioner Shashi Prakash Singh said that 130 oxygen supported beds, 50 ventilators are ready for the treatment of Kovid infected patients in SNMMCH. Apart from this, 250 to 300 more beds are ready. The roster of medical staff and doctors has also been prepared.
He said that the hospital management should fix lights and fans in all wards, keep oxygen cylinders near beds that do not have oxygen pipeline connection, keep empty oxygen cylinders refilled, and start the PSA oxygen plant from PM Care. Keeping in position, where there is no connection with PSA oxygen plant, it was instructed to make connection soon.
