Jharkhand Breaking News! 3 Naxalites arrested in West Singhbhum, Jharkhand, 60 KG explosives and 67 rounds of live cartridges recovered.

A case has been registered against these three for carrying out eight Naxal violent incidents in Tonto and Jeteya police stations of West Singhbhum district. After the arrest, on their information, one three not three rifle, huge quantity of explosives and 41 types of other materials were recovered from the Naxalite dump.

West Singhbhum District Police of Jharkhand has got great success in the anti-Naxal operation. Police have arrested three Naxalites. One of these Naxalites is a resident of Bijapur in Chhattisgarh. On their notice, the police seized a large quantity of explosive material and other items. Police have said that they had received secret information about the activities of Maoists.

On the basis of this, on Saturday, March 16, an anti-Naxal campaign was conducted in the Panchalataburu forest area around Rela Paral and Rairowa villages of Goilkera police station area. In this sequence, three members of the Naxalite squad were arrested by the security forces in the area. They have been identified as Rohit Das, resident of Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, Ulip Jojo, resident of West Singhbhum, Jharkhand and Basu Bahanda, resident of Chotanagra.

A case has been registered against these three for carrying out eight Naxal violent incidents in Tonto and Jeteya police stations of West Singhbhum district. The security forces destroyed the recovered explosives with the help of the bomb squad. CRPF’s Cobra battalion personnel along with West Singhbhum police were involved in this anti-Naxal operation.

West Singhbhum district police captain Ashutosh Shekhar said that big Naxalite leaders are present in the area and the police operation is going on in search of them. The arrested Naxalites recovered 67 rounds of live cartridges, 60 kg of explosives, 27 arrow bombs, 4 pipe bombs, 27 Sutuli bombs, wireless set, Naxal literature, hand written note book, pen drive, memory card, battery, metal cutter, electric Drill machines, life-saving medicines and other items of daily use were recovered.
